Guys,
First of all. Thanks for your patience. This has been kinda ugly.
I guess we couldn't forsee some of the world-events that impacted our
funding (Sept.11, terrorist funding paranoia, collapse of the Dutch
government, etc.).
The guys on the other side of the pond are trying very hard to get us our
money. They've invested many hours, meetings, and miles (kilometers) trying
to establish financial bridges to get this done. We just received another
message reiterating the May 17 - 20 window from the key 'fund raiser' in
Amsterdam. Its been, and continues to be a long haul to get funded. We are
not taking a passive role in the funding project, and we'll share the
details of our involvement at our 'just funded' party.
The upside: When we succeed, we will have raised $5 million on a business
plan and a powerpoint presentation. Our valuation will be $15 million, or
around 75 cents per share, with our technology still on the drawing board.
Not bad.
This positions us for rapid valuation when the product(s) are produced.
Its a darn start-up. I've done two so far, and they're like this. Then, it
gets really fun.
Thanks for hanging in there. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't
appreciate your patience.
