So I thought I'd run through some asynchronous testing with the
differential BPSK output (which is the same as the original
transcription I posted except inverted).  I wrote a program to go
through it according to any data/parity/stop setting you choose.

I made it to '7n2' and found this string:

Spaces are non-printable characters.  Kinda interesting, although it
doesn't seem to display any particular statistical properties like a
simply-encrypted string would (I would think).
