I'm up for working starting in March, provided your meeting goes well (is it in
Holland? grrr!) and we're comfortable that the risk is pretty small. I think we need
to meet as a group soon, though, so we can find out the skinny on the terms, what
we'll be delivering, etc. (and also celebrate a little). I'm having a family visit next week,
so sometime this week works better for me.

We signed an agreement for funding today. The funder and the fundee's each agree on the terms. The funder has to do some work on his side and we have to deliver some more documents to him this week. If nothing goes bad, we should be funded right around April 1st. Dan and I will probably meet with the funder face to face next week or the week after.
If that meeting goes well, I'd like to propose something to you guys. How would you feel about starting work at the beginning of March? We'd pay you for March as soon as we're funded so it wouldn't be for free. I suppose there is a little risk in that if the funding falls through you wouldn't get paid, but I'm hopeful that after the face to face meeting we'll be pretty solid.
I attached the patent from the attorney. It got filed today. I thought you might like to see what it ended up looking like. (Jay and Kevin, I don't suppose you need to review that second one now ;-) )
Anyway, I'm trying to stay level headed about this, but I think we're there.
