Pretty scary stuff...
Our intent is pretty simple. If you're not making a product or selling a
product, what are you doing here? (OK, maybe a few support folks, but not a
ton of lame middle managers, etc.)
We're happy that the guys currently considering a sizeable investment are
mostly just rich guys that trade a lot of stock. I don't know if Perry has
shared any details, but we're no longer looking at this rather complex
foreign-investment debenture deal - its a pure equity position. They aren't
going to stuff a CEO down our throats that can't spell data storage.
We've got a meeting to prepare a terms sheet on Monday afternoon. If we can
get a common agreement on the definition of dilution, we may have very few
obstacles between us and our first investor.
