X-Mailer: Mutt 1.2.5i There's more about PSK. PM is used in ´sychronous' transmissions, not 'asynchronous'. The latter is the sort that uses start/stop bits and sends each byte of the transmission as a unit. 'Synchronous' transmissions are the sort that add this extra clock signal to the standard RS232 connections. It groups characters together in large blocks of sometimes 2000-4000. There are no spaces between the characters in a block where there are in asychronous tansmissions. A control ('SYN') character always precedes the data, which is book-ended by an 'STX' char in the beginning and an 'ETX' char at the end. So, I don't think we need to look for the standard 1-7-1-1 (1-8-1-1) packets. -- Jay Miller ICQ: 32123421 | YM: ladenedge | http://www.cryptofreak.org PGP: 0xedc9bb8d | 41a6428c 46abd36b 6b259b68 8a28ca4c edc9bb8c -- This is the mod-chal mailing list.
