While the trip wasn't exactly what we had hoped for, it was still a good learning experience. Dan and I came back with a list of things to get done, surrounding a business plan, getting a whitepaper on the technology and getting patents filed. I'm sorry you were in the dark while we were gone, I thought Dan had sent you something Monday, but I didn't see it when I got home. Monday we met with a guy that wanted to provide us with a CEO and to help us find funding. All he wanted in return was a large sum of stock and cash. We're going to try some other avenues first. We had a meeting with a technical/sales guy that Barry knows on Saturday. He thinks the products are solid ideas. Paul, whom we met with on Tuesday, also very much likes what he saw. He wants to put RAID controllers (that he already builds and ships) out on a fibre channel behind our IMU and wants to stripe across the controllers. That way he can loos a drive and the controller will protect the data and he can lose a controller and we'll protect the data. He has a lot of legacy hardware in the field already and likes the idea of being able to extend the life of it with out solution. Unfortunately, as I said from England, Paul won't have his investment money until January. He is also part of an investment group that is looking for something in Febuary. They may be our big round of funding after the initial bit from Paul. He also said he knew people here in the states that would be good sources for money. Dan should be getting conversations set up with those people in the coming weeks.
