Dan and I have been working on it this weekend. I just sent him my stuff. THe plan is to get it back to Paul midweek this week. He sent Dan an email after we got back apologizing for not giving us a check and offering to support us as we seek funding. We need to write some other things that I sure don't have a problem with getting your help on. We need a whitepaper that describes the architecture and the two products DataExtender and TeraGuard (ARVM and ADML). We also need to start filing out patent forms. There is a bunch of information at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/design/index.html I figured on three patent attempts, The ability to capture file activity for the purpose of providing intelligent data management (adml), The ability to provide policy-based management of kernel and application software (portal), and The ability to utilize applications in a policy-based storage system (ITK). So if you'd like to start working on any of those it would be helpful. We got to play on Saturday. We visted the Tower of London, took a city cruise down the Thames to Westminster, heard Big Ben chime, saw Parlament, rode the tube to St Paul's, (went inside, but Dan wouldn't pay to see the really cool parts) and then rode the train out of Paddington station to Reading and on to Ditcot. Sunday we walked outside the hotel and saw Wallingford castle (or what remains of it). It was right behind our hotel in Wallingford. On the way back from the meeting on Monday we drove through Oxford. Didn't eat any beef, but got to go out for Indian one night, oh boy. Have I ever mentioned that I hate computers? I installed my wireless network this weekend. $75 billion dollars and a day of work later, now I can't play network games, one computer crashes in netbuei, and my DSL won't work.
