He's little, but he's OK and will be out of a respirator in a month. My mom also did the heart-attack emergency room scare this week while I was out of town. Geez - everything at once! I'm sorry to be so darn absent from the process. I had a good discussion with the CEO of a medical integrator on Dicom standards. He loved the HSM in an appliance concept for the PACS side of his business (not sure yet what the acronym means, but its the imaging side of the medical market - MRI, CAT, Cardio...) He gave me some information on standards and software partners we can explore. Understandably down the road, but quite enticing from a market development perspective. It sounds like things are going well, but at a relative crossroads. I'm meeting with the Lawyer today on corporate structure, and Barry this evening on the proposal for our first 'chunk of change'. I believe we can secure some cash and not give up our souls. There are several other folks that I'll be corresponding with next week, building a little safety net for our second round, or if the first round somehow falls through.
