Sorry about missing today's meeting. If there was anything good discussed, can someone let me know.

I have a bit of a problem developing at work. People are strating to figure out that I'm up to something. For example, Randy asked me yesterday if I was working on eNAS again. A couple of times people have noticed me taking 2 -2 1/2 hour lunches.

I'm afraid if I keep going to long lunch meetings, I'm going to get found out. I'm not ready for that to happen yet.

There are still several scenarios on the table and more architectural work to be done. With my work situation, I can offer two types of involvement. I can meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Saturdays, or Sunday afternoons (although I'd prefer not to with football and all.) I'm also willing to read and respond to any length email.

The good news is I think we're about as far as we can and should really get before we get funded. I'm not sure asking you to start doing detailed design work is fair given we don't have a funded company. The other good news is Dan is meeting with a lawyer tomorrow to put together the basis of a company and a means for investors to purchase part of the company. With that in place we are pretty much ready to get some money. >From what I understand, the European interest is still high and there is still interest on the part of the Colorado angel investment group.

I talked to Dan this morning. He told me that he had someone in Chicago ask him if there was a way to run a virus scan as part of a backup. He told them he knew of some guys putting something together... Dan continues to get market validation that we are on the right track. I'm really pleased with the architecture that has developed. You guys have done a great job. I think we're looking a platform that will be able to perform a miriad of tasks we haven't even thought about yet.

With that said, I'll add a little more to the doc I sent out last night. I think it would be good to add a section that ties it all together, maybe in the form of a use case. When I'm done with that I'll volunteer for something else.

So here's your chance to respond.

Has anyone else volunteered to tackle one of the documents we identified?
How do you feel about meeting on my time frame?
Would you rather just fire me and not worry about it?
Do you have any comments on what I sent out yesterday?

P
